The Ensemble Wien Helsinki was founded in 2005 by Linda Hedlund (Violin) and Taha Abedian (Viola) in Vienna (Chamber music education with Prof. Johanes Meissl/Artis Quartet). The Ensemble interprets works from the classical repertoire, as well as contemporary music. Concerts in New York, Vienna, Helsinki and other cities, togther with the members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and Oliver Kern (1st Prize of Beethoven International Piano competition). The Ensemble Wien Helsinki was kindly supported by the Austrian Foreign Ministry and Gottfried von Einem Private Music Foundation.
